What is the Command Position?

In Feng Shui, the command position is often referred to when discussing your bedroom and your office. What it means is that you should have those pieces of furniture facing the door but not directly in front of the door. Preferably, the furniture is located in the far side of the room.

From this position, you feel in control of your environment because you can see if anyone enters the room quite easily. Hense, the name "Command" position, because you are in control.
