Unfortunately, there are those out there who take advantage of newly popular practices and try to make lots of money off of it. The information they make you purchase may in fact be useful, but sometimes it may not.
When searching for information on Feng Shui, I wouldn't recommend purchasing products from sites that give outlandish claims. If they say you can have wealth beyond your dreams or all of your problems will go away, that should put up a red flag. While Feng Shui will do great things for your life, it will not make all pain or problems go away. After all, life is life. There will be sadness for without it there would be no joy.
That's why I tend to go with books from publishers that I know and trust.
